THE RESTORATION JOURNEY
The beauty
of becoming.
An old house, thoughtfully becoming.
From the original house to the first imagined stays, the transformation unfolds in four chapters. Scroll through the photographs, then open each chapter note for more detail. Future dates remain provisional.
01 / THE ORIGINAL HOUSE
A history to work with.
Two smaller houses, joined into one. Rooms and levels that carry the traces of earlier domestic life.
The starting pointRead chapter note
The house’s irregular arrangement is part of its story. Rather than erase the traces of earlier domestic life, the restoration begins by considering what can be carried forward: intimate proportions, individual rooms, and a sense of continuity.
02 / IN PROGRESS
Preserving character.
Making room for change.
Restoration is ongoing, guided by the house’s materials, proportions, and changing light.

A note on the processRead chapter note
The aim is a coherent home without making every room the same. Natural materials and the relationship between light and shadow inform the design, while living areas and the dedicated studio create space for different uses.
03 / ENVISIONED
The first shared table.
Private, invitation-only stays are envisioned for 2027. A small beginning, with time to learn the house’s rhythms.

What this chapter meansRead chapter note
This first phase is intended to be private and invitation-only, allowing time to understand how the house works for creative life and hospitality. It is an ambition rather than a confirmed opening date, and depends on restoration progress. Public bookings are not yet open.
04 / PLANNED
A new chapter.
A wider opening is planned, with creative stays and cultural exchange shaped by what comes before.

Looking aheadRead chapter note
A broader welcome may bring independent creative stays and occasional intimate gatherings. The form will develop through experience, with the house’s small scale remaining central. Confirmed dates and details will be shared through Instagram.
